My Brain Is Full

Go ahead and laugh…..but really. Four days at the annual convention of the National Speakers Association is not for the faint hearted (or small brained). In addition to presenting a session at Meet the Pros, I attended many educational sessions and connected with people in the halls and learned a lot along the way. I haven’t had time to organize my notes as I departed Orlando this AM and stopped home before heading out to see a client in PA. But I do know I have a pretty long action list of things to do. That’s good. It means my ROI for attending the meeting will be high.

There were over 1200 attendees. Sadly, few will achieve real success in the speaking business. The same is true in most businesses and in life. People are unwilling to change, unwilling to embrace new ideas and unwilling to do the work to make the change happen.

You ALL know what you need to be doing. I just lost 10 pounds. I needed to do it. I knew that for a few years. I finally changed my eating and said no to cookies etc. I would rather eat cookies but living a healthy life is preferable to the cookies. I knew what I needed to do. I finally did it. I will execute the things I need to do from convention too.

What about you? What do you KNOW you need to do but haven’t done? What are you waiting for? Now is the time. Make the move.
