He did it!

Steve Brooks is our lead executive coach here at FireStarter. Many of you know him. He is VERY effective at coaching. He is a pretty good runner too.

For the past seven or so years he has run the Pikes Peak Ascent. 13 miles, one way. UP….this year he did the marathon. First you run up 13 miles, then…yup, you run down 13 miles….his time was just over 7 hours.

I am always amazed and proud of him when he does the event. Truly an inspiration.

How about you? Any events you work hard for every year? Should there be? How bout that life balance conversation. Steve is a well-rounded person with interests in a number of areas and he balances them all fairly well.

For me the personal excellence challenge is about fitness and about my golf game. Steve runs up (and down) hills. What do you do?
