Good to see you, Welcome.
It has been a busy week. I was part of a 900 person convention for a company I do a lot of work with. I did a brief presentation to open the meeting but my real role was as content manager and that took over two years! This past week was the fruits of the labor of a great team (although I did do alot walking around checking on things). That explains me not posting this week. (vacation next week so don’t expect too much there either). Thursday night was the closing gala. The workshops and general sessions were done and it was time to party. I stood near the CEO as he greeted almost all of the 900 attendees as they entered the venue. Of course, he didn’t shake the hand of all 900 but I would say he got 400 of them and everyone saw him welcoming them to the event. This took time and energy but he understands the human touch that is part of great leadership. How often do you greet your teams? Seeing them everyday can induce complacency so what are you doing to establish and nurture that human connection? The personal touch is a good start
"I have attended quite a few leadership seminars, and have tried to gather and relate things from each of them, but yours hit all 3 of us with material that relates and for myself commands an internal level of accountability and responsibility in what I do at our company. "
