A gracious Tim Thomas at the ESPYs

Tim Thomas, the goalie for the Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins, just won the award for the best championship performance. He mentioned it was an honor to win that in light of the many championship performances over the year that might be worthy of winning.

He was very clear though that although the award was an individual award he could not have won it without his team. That is grace. True leaders exhibit grace. They recognize the honor of leading and demonstrate respect and appreciation for those they work with.

Do you display grace, like Tim Thomas? Or do you sometimes forget the people who need to be thanked?
