April 26 2012 is National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. You can check out the website dedicated to helping you have a great experience doing it.

Last year around this time I had presentation in Raleigh. This is not a standard thing. My daughter was off from school and I figured this was a great time to have her see me speak. The client was gracious enough to have her in, they even had a special seat for her.

What was really cool, and totally unplanned…it was National Take Your Child To Work Day….And I did it.

What was particularly fun was when she earnestly gave me some feedback after the presentation on how I could do it better. (I have to say I was “on” today”) She based her comments on what she has learned at youth program at the National Speakers Assn.

Fun day…I hope you have ones like it. You still have a few weeks left to prepare fo this and do a great job with it.
