Why I like George Steinbrenner
He wants to win.
There are many who criticize the NY Yankees because they “buy” championships. They spend alot of money to get the best players, the critics argue. That may be true but George wants to win and all those guys making big bucks want to win also. In fact, there are probably alot of guys in the league who would give up a few million to have a World Series ring.
What about your place? Do people want to win that bad? Research shows you really don’t have to pay them the most, you just need to lead them the best.
