Oxymoron
Two words that don’t go together are an oxymoron. Aluminum Armor, Jumbo Shrimp, etc.
Today I read that Tiger Woods won his first match back on the tour and the writer compared his comeback coming out to…………Mike Tyson. C’mon. Can’t a writer do better than that?
Tiger and Tyson in the same sentence just doesn’t go together. Tiger makes golf shots; signs autographs and is a role model. Tyson bites ears and gets arrested. I just don’t see how they can possibly be in the same sentence.
OK, no real business leadership slant on this post. Unless maybe we can talk about clarity of communication and using the right word, or example, to make a point.
Either way, that is all today. Thanks. .
"What can I say…. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You were definitely a big hit, as I knew you would be. I will highly recommend you for other speaking engagements and for other chapter events."
