National Cotton Candy Day

Most of you will read this on December 7. This is an important day. It is National Cotton Candy Day. Why can’t Congress leave somethings alone? I think in the annals of American history Dec 7 is one of the biggees and could stand on its own. Then again, if you look at all the other National Days…the 25th of Dec is National Pumpkin Pie Day…the 30th is National Bicarbonate of Soda Day..really.

Anyway, you know where this is going. Pearl Harbor. Page through your newspaper and you will see a small piece somewhere in the back. It will not have any prominence. OK, Afghanistan gets the headlines (maybe) but there is a link.

Statisticians estimate that over 1000 WWII veterans die each day. Take a moment, today, and give thanks for their contribution to world history and their sacrifice for our nation. We are better for it.

" ...it was one of the most dynamic and interesting talks I have ever witnessed on general leadership and effective management. I thought it was very interesting to see how you approached the topic from the bottom up -- from the grunt's perspective. This made the topic very easy for me to relate to and gave me ideas on how to develop the leaders I am responsible for."
