In doing some research for my new book (which I HOPE will be out later in the year) I was looking at some quotes on various subjects related to essential traits of leadership. I came across this and it got my attention.

Hell begins on the day when God grants us a clear vision of all that we might have achieved, of all the gifts which we have wasted, of all that we might have done which we did not do”

It was penned by Gian Carlo Menotti (July 7, 1911 – February 1, 2007), an Italian-American composer.

From this it appears our own hell might be avoidable. Use all your gifts, choose the challenge, step out and step up. Don’t sit back, don’t live in fear. Live in faith. In fact, live, not exist and you might be on the right track.
