Dont surrender

The year is almost over and we KNOW more holiday parties and eating are around the corner. Many of us virtually surrender and convince ourselves we will get back in shape in January. It need not be that way.

Go ahead, have fun, eat, drink and be merry but have a plan to compensate a bit. If you know dinner is going to be big have a light lunch. If you know you are going to a buffet, drink some water and fill up on veggies before you go.

And don’t even think about telling yourself an extra mile on the treadmill will make up for it, it will not. (I checked the numbers)

Enjoy the holidays. Just don’t overenjoy them every day.
