Seeing things in a different way

After doing the 5K on Sunday we have spent a few days in the Washington, DC area. As I have mentioned in the past, it is always interesting seeing and relearning about things thru the eyes of a child, or because you are with a child. We see things and relearn things we once knew and see them in a new way. This trip has seen much of that.

From the Smithsonian to the Metro to Arlington we saw a great deal. Today we spent 4 hours at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Mixed emotions on that one, for sure. Particularly when visiting two bricks I helped purchase in memory of two great Marines I served with who died on active duty.

More on the trip later but for now…what do you need to see in a new way? Are there old problems that require new solutions but you keep attacking them the same way? What can you do to get a new perspective? It might be worth it.

"Thanks for a fine presentation at UCT. I finished your book and it was a great read! After reading, I put together several pages of key points that I will try to work into my daily thought process."
