Another perspective

I have been playing some better golf the past few outings. (Low 80’s if you need to know and a few nines under 40). But today I played with my old pro. He isn’t old but he doesn’t work where I play anymore so he is the “old” pro. We do see each other from time to time and he is the one who really got me on track over the past few years and even a correction earlier this summer to get me back on track.

Like I said, I have been doing OK lately but he was able to give three pointers that should really help my game. Keep in mind, I have been playing well, these tips will help me play better.

How often do you get another perspective on what you are doing from someone who knows what you are trying to do? Our leadership coaches at FireStarter do exactly that. They offer insights from a different perspective, just as my pro did today.

How often are you doing “OK” or “fine” and you don’t seek that other perspective? Yet that other perspective could be a big help to you.

From what I see this happens all too often and that means people are not reaching their true potential. I hope you are.
