My, things have changed

Last night I watched the movie “Milk” about the first openly gay elected official in the US. A few months ago I watched “Remember the Titans” about a newly integrated football team in the early days of integration.

Both are thought provoking as they show how these situations were met with violence and bigotry. This is not ancient history. I remember Anita Bryant crusading against gays.

Let’s keep this from getting political, moral, religous, etc, etc, etc.

What I would like to point out is that we still harbor biases against people. Maybe not blacks or gays but what about the guy in the next cubicle who doesn’t (fill in the blank) or does (fill in the blank). What prejudices do you carry and how does that impact your life and the people around you?

Considering how much our society has changed in a generation, would your way of thinking appear antiquated 20 years from now?

Just curious.

"I have received so many very positive comments about your workshop. Most importantly, the evaluations and the one-on-one feedback indicate that the participants picked up information and tips that they plan to apply both in their business and in their chapters."
