yeah, mine RRoDed 3 times. I'm tired of sending it in. I decided to just get a PS3 when the price dropped to $299. So far so good. Actually, it's better IMO. Free wireless controller, the battery seems to last FAR longer, free wireless network card, free HD, blu-ray. Just seems to be an all around better machine.

Well, they were done professionally and probably violated Maryland bugging laws.Plus, they were edited professionally. That's probably one reason for the law. Police would not be able to cut things out and if they did, they would be compelled by defense council to disclose & supply what was cut out as exculpatory evidence..
"I still haven't heard a coheriant explanation of why the right wing hates Pelosi so much." <-- Because she's had plastic surgery. At least, that's the main complaint over @ the FoxNews forums.!

In the Wilson case, it seems that the residents have a much larger problem of corrupt legislatures willing to sell them out for bribes. Obviously these guys needed to be voted out of office (or sent to jail) before many things (not just internet service) can be fixed. In the Monticello case, it was not a picture perfect result, but now the residents have 2 fiber optic ISPs to choose from. They can go with the existing ISP that was forced through competition to lay down fiber. Or they can go with their own fiber solution that is not ready yet, but will presumably be more customer-centric. This case does an excellent job of showing that sometimes even competition with a severe legal disadvantage can still generate good results. Ideally the Monticello ISP would not have been allowed to use the courts to stop the city from laying down it's own fiber, but that is really more of a problem with the local laws and/or courts there.?
This reads like something Elaine would right for the J.Peterman catalog... Is Wired going to cover the Urban Sombrero next? |

I doubt that the network administrators are the only ones to blame here.http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff1800/fv01743.htm

The comments here are yet another great example of the fact that the American people are still retarded. Blame Republicans, blame Democrats. ***** that. They're both screwing you while you blame the other party. Neither of them would take a stand against giving home loans to poor people who can't afford home loans. Neither of them will stand up now and say...hey maybe we SHOULDN'T give tax credits to encourage people to buy homes even though they still can't afford the payments...wait maybe that's even what got us into this position in the first place.Ideas like that are just not politically correct, and since no one in this country seems to be able to realize that regardless of who they vote for, the poor population is by far the biggest voter base, so they will continue to be pandered to.Who was it that said democracy can only exist until the poor masses realize that they can vote themselves money from the treasury? Welcome to that realization. |
