The problem is that various laws prevent the arming of cargo ship crews, and many countries don't want armed cargo ship crews coming into their ports (including the US). I believe that the ships that are carrying armed guards, like the Alabama is now, are picking them up offshore before the ships enter hostile waters then unloading them before they enter their destination ports. If they didn't do that then the ports wouldn't let them enter. I seriously doubt the US would ever allow foreign cargo ships to show up in American ports with stocks of military-grade weapons on board unless there were very specific and very strict regulations ensuring that they're locked up as long as they're in US waters and unless US authorities had the power to detain anybody who uses them while in US waters. And since the US would likely impose such regulations on foreign armed cargo ships then you can bet those foreign countries would impose similar regulations on US armed cargo ships.

im very very impressed. HUGE step up from past cards. hardocp clocked it at an average of 40 fps on very high at 1920 x 1200 with 4x aa. and that means at the ice levels, which are horribly demanding. impressive. and everyone saying it's been 3 years and still not 60 fps, well, the game is lightyears ahead of every other game visually. sure, graphics aren't everything, but im glad someone is at least pushing to see what's possible. not just settling for mainstream success. and btw crysis and crysis warhead are both great games. seriously.?
You must have missed the part where it's not caffeinated anymore in TFA.
Modern man is capable of better designs today but every modern Engineer will tell you that they are constrained by cost. Want to make those buildings/drains last for a thousand years? It's going to cost you and the process was different in Roman times.Price is a huge factor when a city decides which bid to accept on a project. And if you belong to the company with the winning bid they will try to maximize profit while meeting the terms of the contract but of course they won't be going overboard just to see how long their design will last...
