I suppose a lot of people do it, but you should fully expect to get ***** on because that's not their main business. There are, however, many locally owned PC repair shops essentially everywhere. They can be admittedly hit and miss, but if you stay away from Geek Squad and ask around you can usually find a reputable shop with reasonable service fees in your area.That said, I thought the guys in video seemed very amiable and helpful even when approached with a relatively unusual situation, and I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with taking your system in for service. I can change my own oil, but that doesn't mean I always have the time or motivation to be bothered with it instead of just going to Jiffy Lube or whatever.!
