I don't listen to John Mayer, but he's damn good in an interview. He's witty and tries to have fun in what must have been his 20th interview that day.
People still video-tape their TV's?

If I had a choice of selling my company for huge bucks or trying to actually prove my business model, I would be hard pressed to not take the money. Not sure what that has to do with Sarbanes-Oxley. Being bought out is the path of least resistance, regardless of any law..
At least they are building. We stopped building in the US. They have manufacturing jobs. We have service jobs. What happens when people can't afford services anymore?!
That's true to about the extent that people think they're over-hyped and dismiss them out of hand for that reason.I think if you have a broad overview of the development of popular music, you can't help but give them respect.Check this out, maybe it will give some context: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO_dI5vVFRc

The interview was great but a lot of the comments don't seem to understand the reality of business. News must be paid for but a pay wall is just plain stupid. Simply reporting or commentating on an event can be done as a hobby but real journalism takes real funding. New revenue models are needed for the new distribution models. The ad supported model may work but pay walls won't.
