theyre both smart businessmen.im tired of typing this out in fedor threads though.....fedor is HALF OWNER in global m1. he made a killing off of affliction because of that. more money than he ever made. even if affliction failed, fedor laughed all the way to the bank.and hes only making even more money with strikeforce. cbs opened up the bank doors for fedor and global m1. fighters cant fight forever and fedor knows this. leaving a company you own half of to fight in the ufc would be beyond stupid. fedor is not stupid.on the other side of that, lesnar is making a killing with the ufc. he got dana to sign a huge contract. hes got no reason to give up that money either.global m1 and strikeforce dont need the ufc. they have cbs and free fights on national us tv to generate them more money than the ufc could ever make for them.on the other side of that. the ufc doesnt need global m1. they do their own promotions just fine.theres just no sane or logical reason why one would leave the other. "cause the fans want it" isnt enough reason for either of them. in fact, thats not even a reason.
