@s73v3r "Once a non-Neutral net takes hold, it will be much harder to go back to a Neutral one."Why will it be much harder? I actually think it will actually be easier. Rather than trying to make a law to combat something that doesn't even exist yet, we'd be making a law against something that was actually happening. The law could be tailored to the exact problems that arise. We wouldn't need to guess what the problems might be in the future."And just about everybody else would say that the free market has failed miserably with ISPs"I don't think that's true. I am quite happy with my internet service. It is blazing fast (over 1000 KBps) and only costs $40 per month."given that so many of them have monopoly status in their area."They don't have permanent monopolies. They are basically utility companies. Like SoCal Edison and SDGE. If they do not do a good enough job, they can be replaced. If they violate their contracts, they can be sued by the city. They must deal with some regulation just like ISPs do.I am not against ALL regulation. I am against Net Neutrality."Unless you count "competition" from dial-up ISPs, which I doubt anybody who uses the internet regularly would. "Most people in this country have access to at least 2 broadband ISPs. I have 3 broadband providers in my area (AT&T, Time Warner, Earthlink broadband).

Rubble from the alien base?
Machines are no good at recognizing real vs fake. You can put a picture of your eyes in front of it and it won't know the difference. This has been tested. You can even fake a thumb print with a picture of your thumb.

Agreed, that video was awesome all around..
Probably would have been thoughtful to blur Darlene's name as well, don't you think? Contact centre customer service people are like the front-line troops in the army. If they're setup with the right tools and resources, they're useful and helpful. But often enough they have to work under rigid company policies, with strict rules about how to handle the normal everyday complaints and moans, with very little power to go outside those policies. Their job is to keep upper management insulated from the customer unless its an unusual or serious issue. Darlene is expressing her justified frustration at not being able to directly help her customer; let's hope it doesn't get her into any trouble.!

I don't think Manson would be a decent looking Vampire...However, I think he would have been awesome as Willy Wonka in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The anti-Fox News crowd has mainly offered their facts in the rebuttal of Fox News being "fair and balanced".
I'm sure most of them are thankful to *have* a job, versus them or their families starving on the street. It's a tough situation.. if outside influences go in and "clean" up the shop, it might not be profitable for the company any more and they shut it down, losing valuable jobs and money for that community and putting those people on the street. It's a tricky situation.
