I am not saying "trust the system there is no corruption". I am saying "of course there is corruption due to the amount of dollars in play". Now that we've established that basic premise educate yourself on how to deal with it. Don't you also find it suprising that during the oil bubble a few years ago everyone was talking about "peak oil", and headlines of "oil set to go to $200/barrel". Don't you think this had an effect greater than a few inflated balance sheets? Suddenly today peak oil is no longer a worry right? Perhaps all this press was just a means for the smart money to get out while people were still buying.You can get as upset as you want about people lying, but I think you need to grow up a little and realize that talk is cheap. People will find a way to lie and fake earnings and reports. With billions of dollars at stake I'd bet on people falsifying everything they can. Think critically and don't believe everything you read.The whole idea of a free market is to pit lies and greed against each other. It works well, better than any alternative so far.

Nope, it's not fake. It's Canadian. Here in Canada, we have this nifty stuff called Homogenized milk. If you remember your chemistry days, a homogeneous mixture is one in which the constituent particles are distributed uniformly throughout the solution.Milk can be considered to be almost like an oil and water solution, and will separate into its components if left alone. Homogenized milk gets around this by running the milk through little tubes during or after the pasteurization process. The fat molecules end up being broken up / reduced in size and are distributed more uniformly throughout the mixture. You end up with milk that doesn't separate into layers.Here in Canada, it's often abbreviated as "***** milk" on carton / bag labels. But nobody actually *asks* for ***** milk at a store. They'll ask for 1%, 2%, whole milk, etc.Because actually asking for "***** milk" would sound ... gay.?
I watched on the local news (NC resident) this prayer vigil last night that the father was at. He needed help to even stand up during parts of it. Just heartbreaking.
