You can't apply the free market to healthcare the same as you would any commodity unless we as a society are willing to deny people life saving care.You say there are better ways, can you provide an example of a functioning non socialized healthcare system that performs better (in terms of life expectancy, infant mortality, etc..) than countries with socialized healthcare such as Britain and France? MP3s from itunes for $9 and $10 respectively and MP3s from amazon for $9.50 and $10 respectively. So buy buying both as CDs I spent between $.50 and $1 more.
