So wait, no only does Stewart use the NYC Taxi system instead of having a private driver, he stops on a busy street during his day to take pictures with fans... how exactly was he "PWND" and or caught up in his own fame again? Looks like he is just a normal dude.
I've said this in another thread about this article, but let me say it again. Mickey Mouse itself not being in the public domain is a minor inconvenience. The problem is that is that EVERYTHING made after Mickey Mouse is also being kept from the public domain perpetually. Read Lawrence Lessig's Free Culture.http://www.free-culture.cc/ And ***** that "you can't blame corporations, blame the system" mentality. Both deserve blame. Just because you are allowed to get away with something horrible doesn't mean you should do it.

I didn't mean it wouldn't work because there's too much source material, rather that the source material would be hard to adapt to the screen, both from a logistical standpoint and from a storytelling standpoint.

That's because AAA is a Not-for-Profit entity, every dime they earn either goes straight out into marketing, buying trucks, or bonuses for club employees. On a good year I got $300 bonus as an employee. |
