I love that movie too, but Depp was incredible as Sparrow, he sold every second of that role. He almost single-handedly saved the third movie, but that one was too far gone.

They are creating artificial disutility which gives people the wrong incentives. Were things priced rationally, without fraud or other forms of violence, people would make more informed decisions based on the sum of our subjective values. Violence never achieves the best solution to economic issues. It can only create malinvestment. |
