Nobody is going to ask the question?.
I was also terrified by an outer limits episode. It was one where any time the man would become angry, black clouds would form and and lighting would strike the poor victim. The angry man looked like my father.Ah hell, I was scared of clowns too.!

you're 100% right-I tried dumbing it down but ended up making it wrong altogether?
Rule of thumb: If something says "Collector's Edition" it is of very little value to an actual collector. |

You guys shouldn't digg this down. People ought to see the counter argument.. especially if the counter argument is as well thought out as this.

My feeling is the Bing has gained mainly because of inertia. Install IE8, and then get bothered by that opening screen enough, and users will just go through the motions (click, click, Search Engine=Bing, yeah, yeah, yeah, Live Essentials, I'll be your b*tch, yeah, click), and suddenly, there's a 'Bing' instead of a 'Google' in the search bar.

You've seen what happens when voters try to create competition for the incumbent telcos. Look at what happened to Wilson, NC and Monticello, MN. Both cities wanted someone to provide fiber to the home. They asked their resident telco, who refused. When the citizens decided to do it themselves, they were dragged down in court by the telco. In the Wilson case, the municipal ISP was able to get started, but Time Warner fled to the state legislature to try and purchase a ban on such endeavors. In the Monticello case, the incumbent ISP sued, and kept the project tied up in a legal battle that, while it was decided to have absolutely no merit, forced the municipal project to delay itself long enough for the incumbent to get a head start on laying their own fiber. |
