Not really sad. They could have coded it to run at medium or high as maximum and simply renamed medium to high and high to very high, then just not tell anyone what they did. It would be teh same game, and nobody would be running what is currently the "very high" setting now, but everyone would be satisfied.I wish more games would make their graphics a little future proof. Not necessarily to the crazy degree Crysis did, but when I pull the game out to play again in a while in say 6 months to a year, I wouldn't mind it looking nice. I'm still on an 8800gt with q6600 and can run Crysis on high with no problems.
Why does that matter? We're not taking 23 out of the number line, we're just retiring it from basketball. Why do we simultaneously claim that in schools and little leagues winning and honor are being devalued, while at the same time setting the bar for professional honors well above super-human?I'm not saying we completely ignore terrible acts off the court, just that we don't get stupid about the role athletes are expected to play in our culture.Jordan changed the game of basketball, give him the honor already.

it's funny how the greenies are on this quest for the "greenest" power solutions, yet they constantly overlook nuclear power which sits directly in front of them, ready to go, emitting no global warming emissions.. yet they think that its going to blow up and/or radiate the world or something.
He ruined the Hitler mustache style for everyone.!

No... If you don't remember this, let me remind you...ATT -> broken up into smaller units for anti-trustCustomer service for each is fractured accordingly.Bellsouth (one of those units) -> Develops a nation-leading wireless network that is separate from its land-based businessBellsouth -> buys ATT wireless network to merge with its own as ATT wireless is failing miserablycall centers are then merged for profitabilityATT -> buys bellsouth back because it's doing so well and keeps it a separate entity to not break its anti-trust agreementsBellsouth Wireless (Cingular) maintains its autonomy due to profitabilityTherefore ATT has no control over Cingular's actions or tech support.?
Im not digging this *****. |

By bandying around terms like "micro evolution" and "macro evolution" you're clearly demonstrating your lack of knowledge of the science of evolution. The terms were coined individually by a Russian entomologist and an American botanist in the early 1900's. But by the 1940's scientists has pretty much universally dropped the "micro" and "macro" prefixes as researchers had started discussing evolution in terms of the changes in allele frequencies (changes in forms of a gene) without any mention of the level or timing of change. You'll find very little, if any use of those terms from the 1940's until just the last few years when anti-evolutionists (young Earth creationists, etc) started misusing the terms. The claim that micro evolution is qualitatively different from macro evolution is bogus, as the main difference between the two processes is that one occurs within a few generations, whilst the other takes place over thousands of years. They describe the same process, just over different spans of time. So if you believe in one then you must believe in the other. By saying you believe in one but not the other you're simply contradicting yourself. It's as if you claim you believe that planting an acorn in the ground will sprout a seedling but you don't believe that in 100 years it'll be a massive oak tree.

Charts like this are rather bogus as they make a LOT of assumptions. |
