"The premise of your argument was the the iphone was inferior and could not compete in the Japanese market."I never said such a thing.I said that just because something is the most-sold item does not make it the best. That was my premise and my sole and only point. And almost 99% of sane people that don't simply go along with trends acknowledge it's true.I'm not even saying the iPhone isn't a worthy trend - as I said in my second comment, I'm actually an Apple fan. Not so much an iPhone fan (because I don't like touchscreen phones much in general), but I do appreciate it's popularity. But to say it's the best simply because it's the most-sold/popular is the most illogical and flawed argument for the purchase of an iPhone out there.

256 is still a crappy bit-rate imo. They should deliver it in a lossless format (there's plenty to chose from), then compress when it goes on your mp3 player. For $1.29 you think they could spend a little more bandwidth on you....
One bruise is all it takes for someone to scream brutality against a child. But like I said when it comes to dealing with kids in such a situation it's a no win for the cops, which is why domestic disputes are the most dreaded of all calls...!

What does this matter? I think it's safe to say any water on the moon functions similarly to fossil water on earth meaning, it is a non renewable resource.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fossil_water

I interviewed this guy at MIT. He's brilliant. The tech is amazing. I don't completely agree with the implementation currently (having to wear a projection system, etc) but I think the software written and the basic concept will be huge in a few years.

@thcobbsI'll try to explain this the simplest way I can think of.Imagine the earth as a greenhouse. The temparature in the greenhouse is dependent on cycles both on the time of day and the time of year. Added to that is the unpredictable output of the sun.Tiny, tiny temperature sensors are spread over the floor. On the floor of the greenhouse are also puddles that sometimes steam up when it gets hot and reflects the heat out before it even reaches the floor sensors. You can take the average temparature every day in the greenhouse for several years and you will not get an accurate prediction as you can't tell how much water vapour there will be from the puddles or how the plants move or even how strong the sun is shining. Choatic moves in the air and steam flow also produce a lot of uncertainty (like how a butterfly in Brazil can cause a Tornado in Texas). But if you put a tint on the windows so that light can enter into the greenhouse but the reflected light cannot be reflected out as much, then the average temparature is most likely to rise, right? |
