dutchguilder2 is right. I like Krugman most of the time but I don't think China will let the states depreciate the dollar or let inflation pay the debt by itself. You guys have to remember that if China lets the RBM appreciate by 1%, it's 1% of their bonds/bills/dollars reserves that melts away. Both countries have a lot to lose from this situation and believe me, they very well understand what they are doing.@GrownupPhan Why not include the part of the article where Krugman says that the Obama administration doesn't seem to get it neither? What's your politico-blog agenda?

the new digg ads are a sensible approach. they are unobstrusive and potentially interesting. i also click on google ads when shopping etc. its rich-media normal ads that are horrendous (such as on rupert murdoch sites). it makes me wonder if the ad industry have their business model set for old media and have got the internet ad model wrong
