"Playing god" is something small minded people use to describe things they do not understand.
The Apple IIs that I learned basic computing on are older than most of the kids who work in the "Genius Bar".Sucks getting old.

“"Using small motors to move the lens and camera sensor a pleasent blur can be created"Don't those actually work the opposite way? Motors move the lens/sensor to eliminate blur.

A spokesman for Hall said he was not aware of the temporary restraining order, but insisted, "All of the allegations are erroneous and will be addressed accordingly."We will see about that, Are we going to have to check your locker again? Brian? Flare guns or not this is funny. Most notable thing since writing your ending movie letter to ole Dick Vernon.
Holy crap, a player from a small-market team actually won an award he deserved to win?!

Bookmarked?
You really don't have a choice, the bailouts were approved long ago. Unless you plan on refusing to pay your federal taxes your money is going to them regardless of your feelings about the matter. |

depends which way the motor moves the sensor/lens assembly. If it moves it in the opposite direction of the movement, then you have image stabilization. If it moves it in another direction, you get blur, as if you moved the camera itself when you took the shot. not sure how pleasant it is, though.

I'm no comic book expert -- proof being that I've actually lost my virginity -- but didn't they also say that Watchmen couldn't be made into a movie, and in the end the movie ended up satisfying most fans? Just saying.

Ordinarily I'd agree with you... but there's a big difference between violating ethics rules (which is a testable thing) and believing that CMPA can render in impartial opinion.... especially when CMPA ignores 22 hours of commentary (including prime time) without a good justification (they say that this is impartial because, in 3-7 years from now, they expect other networks to provide slanted coverage the next time a republican is in the whitehouse... huh?) |
