“Nobody has outlawed caffeine in alcoholic drinks. This is just alarmist nonsense, the FDA is investigating whether or not caffeine is a safe additive for alcoholic drinks. Even if they did decide to ban it from alcoholic drinks it would still be perfectly legal to mix them yourself because the FDA doesn't have the power to regulate that (even if they did how could they enforce it?).
