@flossdaily I was not concerned with your remark. If you have a sense of time, you'll realize I was in agreement with peachi about the uber-slow justice in this case. To my knowledge I did not respond to any of your mind expanding initiations. My sarcasm was regarding trying to export such timid, unsure justice. Who U-all is is not important to me, since I cannot hold a conversation with every commenter on Digg. I was agreeing with Peachi--I hope that is clear now. This has been very stressful for both of us..... But very educational /s.
Cool KC needs something good. My Chiefs SUCK BALLS.!

cataclysmic variables are awesome. They used to be called "flare stars". They can move up four order of magnitude in a very short window of time. That's got to be very rough on the locals.?

Same depth as a Larry the Cable Guy movie? Jesus fuzz-balls that is harsh and I respectfully disagree. We all have our all-time classics that nobody will ever live up to but you have to give an artist who is still growing a break. QT's movies have been increasingly more daring and, like the article states, less dependent on gimmicks and more dependent on storytelling. I suggest you take the time to rethink your position and consider that QT brings more than just directing to the table:I don't have time to list everything but here's one thing you might consider: QT's gift at getting great performances out of average actors who are more known for 'star power' than talent. That isn't an accident, its a gift and before you give too much credit to the actors alone, consider if even the great Sam Jackson has shined as brightly outside of a QT movie, let alone your Travolta, Willis, Thurman, etc.I believe QT has something to say but it may be too modern for today's critics to pick up easily. Even Leone was considered a hack who used violence to substitute for story in his day.Anyway, hopefully you take this as a friendly discussion - not a slam.

The point isn't a valid one to propose that the government not run health care. In fact, the fact that a private company might have messed up the paperwork is actually fuel for government intervention. Why? Because god knows if the government was in charge and they messed up paperwork you all would be bitching about "this is what happens when you let the government take over where private companies should be dominant". I'm just using your logic back on you.

This is great news for Australian golf. It's popularity has been waning over the last decade or so; but the tickets to view the event live at the course were sold out. The premier event of the golfing calendar, the Australian Open, has languished from world grand-slam status in the 1980's to a little backwater tournament that can hardly attract any prominent players - and in recent years has come close to being canceled due to a lack of a major sponsor. It's organisers have really dropped the ball, entering into a deal that sees it played exclusively in Sydney for almost a decade (even though the country's best courses - including a venue that was purpose-built specifically to host the Australian Open on a semi-permanent basis - are all located in Melbourne). |
