the government didn't give us the internet it was a progression of technology and the government used it , but private individuals and companies "invented" all the processes and hardware that make up the internet. And the internet you see today .. really has very little to do with what the governments use for it.Thats like saying that since the government uses planes to fly in that they gave us the airplane..
Somehow I don't think "Freedom of the Press" includes the freedom to be mobbed up.

Tariffs...to the point that the price of a foreign made item is equal to that of the same item manufactured in the US. To hell with the rest of the world, GATT, WIPO, etc. We can rebuild our manufacturing base here at home and revitalize the middle class. If a company outsources any part of their operation that part should be considered a foreign company and pay corporate taxes at double the standard rate. We're in the worst financial crisis in 70 years and it will take measures like this to revive our economy.?
What, No Guinness ad's? The definition of "old school".

@JimSwarthow I'm sorry, but here in Portugal it's widely believed (civilians and scientist alike) that human activity is causing global warming (and by warming you should read 'climate change', we are experiencing more extreme temperatures than ever before). Some USA republican senator was paid to find a single portuguese scientist that says otherwise? Well, that's PR campaign. I can give ten times fold portuguese scientists who say otherwise.
