Yes, private health insurance has really done this country a hell of a lot of good. People don't stop to think about those who have jobs, but aren't offered health insurance through those jobs. Most self-obtained health insurance is hugely expensive with fewer benefits then your group coverage plans.Private health insurance companies are a joke. It's time to watch em burn.

No matter what carriers will provide coverage for this phone there will be payment required for service. How much that will be and overall costs (as in will it be subsidized or only sold open or some combination) are to be determined.A commenter made an interesting point, if you're Samsung or Motorola, why would you continue to use an OS that's being used on phones made by the creator of the OS? That might be considered an unfair advantage since naturally Google is well aware of whatever future plans they have for the phone and can plan their headsets accordingly as compared to the other two mentioned that most likely won't be allowed to know at nearly the same time.
